Bailey Agape Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize a teacher who impacts the life of a student within and outside the classroom in such a way that the student’s frame of reference is altered so as to improve self, benefit others, and establish direction in life. Pablo Garcia was nominated for the Carl DeBrew Heroes Award by his classroom teacher, Mrs. MaryBeth Patten, and his ESL Teacher, Mrs. Rebecca Lane. The purpose of this award is to recognize a student who has successfully overcome difficult circumstances. A recognition ceremony was held at the LeGrand Center in Shelby on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm for all of the Hero and Agape Award Nominees in Cleveland County. |
